Tim Goodman a posé quelques questions à Vince Gilligan au sujet de l'évolution du personnage de Walter White dans Breaking Bad. Voici sa réponse :
We're not trying to make him unlikeable but I guess we are trying to see how far he can go. There are not a lot of shows where part of the franchise is taking the character from Point A to Point Z...The franchise of most shows is maintenance. It's about keeping all the elements that you loved in the pilot. My pitch to AMC was, basically, we're going to take Mr. Chips and gradually transform him into Scarface.
